March for Babies

RSI had a great time at the March of Dimes March for Babies walk. ReachSmart won the award for most money raised by a new team! The ReachSmart team was able to raise $3,300. Thank you to everyone for supporting our team!

In spite of the menacing clouds that hung over Columbia on April 24th, 2010, the ReachSmart team came out in force. Sporting a distinctive green shirt designed just for the occasion, the ReachSmart team members each walked 6 miles through downtown Columbia to support babies' health.

The March of Dimes is an organization that was initially formed in the first part of the 20th century to fight polio. Having eradicated polio in this country, the March of Dimes now focuses its efforts on improving the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. They carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives.

RSI is proud to have helped such a worthy cause and is honored to have won such a meaningful award.
